Armoured Vehicles
The Nissan Patrol Peacekeeper, based on the Nissan Patrol, has been developed to comply with the highest security standards. Armoured to a level above B6(VR6), the Patrol is suitable for most of the threat levels encountered in the field.
Based on a Nissan Patrol Standard or GL, the Peacekeeper begins life by being dismantled completely before the armouring process begins. This is why the armouring is of superior quality. The only way you are able to armour a vehicle to the highest level, is to detach the body from the chassis frame completely before armouring. This is exactly what has been done to our vehicles.
It is important to note that the Trasco/Centigon product is ballistically tested and certified after assembly -less than a handful of other manufacturers go through the process of certifying the actual finished product - most manufacturers only certify the materials individually, without taking the craftsmanship of assembly into consideration. Trasco/Centigon is convinced this testing is the only way to ensure the necessary level of quality and protection for the users of their vehicles.
Furthermore, the Peacekeeper is the only armoured vehicle around supplied with a certificate of roadworthiness in the EU. This means the vehicle has been tested by an independent authority (TÜV in Germany) to meet the very strict roadworthiness standards in Germany/EU. Consistent and reliable road handling is a vital part of the security concept of the Trasco Peacekeeper - the ability to manoeuvre out of a situation may be critical for the safety of the occupants.
